Heart Planters Are Perfect For Valentines Day Or Any Other Day

Here’s a cool find I found on Pinterest, people are calling them “Pallet Heart Planters”, and this website has a few pictures of them. If you know the original creator of these please leave a comment down below. Of course you can find smaller Heart Planters on Amazon.ca but, that might not be what your looking for (we may earn a commission from the affiliate link in this sentence if you purchase anything). I imagine that the original creator of these threw in some LED’s or Xmas lights to make the planters look pretty, but I’d say it was a really good idea considering how cool they look.

And how they got the wood to bend like that is another question, but there must be a trick to it. There are a few different kinds of planters below, but they all have hearts on them, so hmmm it gives me ideas but I don’t really have any wood working skills so maybe I’ll leave it to the experts. The places to get pallets like these are usually from the back of big box retail stores, grocery stores, etc. Just make sure you walk in and ask a manager if it’s okay to take the brown pallets, they might say no, or yes, you never know. The Blue pallets you for sure want to leave alone.

Now I wonder what kind of LED’s they used in the construction in these planters. I did manage to find some outdoor LED’s that you could use for projects like these, which come in a long strip that can go as long as 100 feet and cost around $139 CAD each. Of course Christmas Lights are easy to find, you can even get them from Wal-Mart for a bit cheaper and you don’t have to pay shipping that way. I honestly admit that the creator of these planters probably used a combination of LED’s and Xmas lights, but what ever he or she used, they did a really good job.
