This was an old post from the other blog I was writing on, same name but different domain name. It was DecorativeSoul.com, and I was saying in the post that this was possible, to paint your plant pots with glow in the dark paint, and they would light up your garden at night. But, I actually tried this myself, with different results. I don’t have pictures of the ones that I painted, but I have that knowledge in knowing that the real solution to achieving glowing plant pots in different colors is actually buying the LED plant pots so yes, you will either need batteries or a solar setup of some sort.
The pots above I had no source, so I don’t know where they are from, though I did find some hope here on Amazon, it says “unavailable” but at least we know that Amazon might have alternatives on their site somewhere. But the pots below cost around $50-$60 each and you can also buy them wholesale as well off the website Alibaba.com.
Now, the pots below are probably the most expensive I’ve ever seen, on the website, they don’t even have a price posted, it just says “get quote now!”, and you know it’s going to be expensive if it says that. Not everyone reading this may be on a budget, but I am just thinking budget-wise. What we know now, is that these glowing LED plant pots are REAL, and that the glow in the dark plant pots that are just painted, do not work at all. You have to buy the LED ones, for sure, and yes they are expensive. Read the reviews first, and make sure they ship to your country.
Below, you will see a unique style of glowing plant pot, and these are actually solar powered as well, and cost around $19.99 CAD each apparently. It looks like you can get them in different colors, and they look more mosaic than the other pots. Oh and the source for the pots below are from Temu, which I believe they have a Canadian website now.
This post is definitely a step above the original post I had made about this topic, with the confidence I got from trying out Terra Cotta plant pots and painting them with glow in the dark paint, that was a big waste of time but at least I tried and maybe in the future I’ll try it out again to show you guys that it’s not effective at all. LED is the way to go, don’t waste your money on the “cheaper route”, it’s not even worth trying. I hope the post helped you.
