Here’s a really good idea if you are limited on funds, all you need is two cinder blocks, four 2×4 pieces of wood, and that’s it! (I think). I mean, just look at what you see in the image below, there’s not much to it at all. There really isn’t any sort of assembly required in this, you just need to find a concrete sidewalk of some sort to place this onto, and I am sure you got one outside your back yard porch door. I’ll be honest, those materials I mentioned, your more likely to find them at Home Depot or something. The idea be low is almost reversed but you get the idea, and if you have that much firewood it’s a great idea to build these to hold it all. Keep the wood off the ground in the process too. I think the bottom image would only require 4 cinder blocks and eight 2×4’s, not bad for an easily constructed firewood holder.
And one last idea for those who are looking for another idea to store their firewood, this is a v-shaped firewood holder which you could possibly make out of old wooden pallets from the back of a retail store. These would store a year’s worth of firewood, or more, just look at all that firewood. Of course you need the motivation to build them, or an experienced wood working person to build them for you lol. Anyways, I hope I gave you some inspiration. If your the kind of person that just lays firewood on the ground, I don’t blame you, I used to do that too.
